The dark lord and his energy

Lord vishnu, Also referred to as the dark lord due to his dark complextion, is the preserver of the universe as I said in my last post. His consort goddess Lakshmi, goddess of wealth and prospiration, accompanies him in his peaceful and eternal abode of vaikuntam. Here, lord vishnu and his beautiful wife rest upon the eternal snake, adisesha, usually depicted as adrift upon the milk ocean. Vishnu and Lakshmi have been married time and again both in the peaceful heaven, and amiss the chaotic earth. But the core of their love story always remains the same: they are eternally bonded together by pure love and abundant affection. Their marriage in heaven was more a peaceful, divine tale than their marriages on earth, however earth did put interesting spins on the occasion. Although the lord and his beloved are usually seen in a blissful state in vaikuntam, with vishnu relaxed upon adisesha and Lakshmi affectionatley maagaing his feet, the amount of pain and suffering they endured is no different from our own. Earth is considered the lesson planet, where devas and even gods are sent from time to time, in order to learn their lesson after misbehaving or acting in an undivine manner. Many devas and gods have been cursed prior to their birth on this planet and sages and rishis are usually behind these curses. Amiss the many who have endured these curses, vishnu and Lakshmi were no exception. Although avatars were taken willingly by the lord and his consort, the separation of the two during this time was due to curses. Such as, the in the Rama avatar, vishnu must stand for dharma at all costs, and consequently, has to give up his wife, sita. Similarly, In the krishna avatar, Krishna and radha fall in love, and although Krishna doesn't strictly abide by the rules like Rama did, his divine sense caused him to stand up for responsibility and destiny. So he had to give up radha as well. These heartbreaking tales are only few of the many hat our beloved lord and his Lakshmi have endured along the course of eternities. However, in the process, vishnu has taught us the meaning of eternal love. Although seperated from his beloved time and again, their bond was never broken or interfered with. Vishnu has said that Lakshmi cannot be seperated from him, because not only is she his wife, but she is his soul, and energy. The strength vshnu gets is from Lakshmi and the faith Lakshmi gets is from vishnu. This is why they have been reunited in go-loka (heaven) each time they are seperated on earth. Also, unlike radha-krishna, who were romantic lovers on earth, vishnu and laksmi are usually depicted sitting next to each other, or as Lakshmi affectionately massaging her lord's feet while he sleeps. Their love is beyond physical affection. Lakshmi and vishnu are the center of each other's hearts.

According to Hinduism, the main trinity of existence contains of lord Brahma: the creator, lord Vishnu:the preserver, and lord Shiva:the destroyer. All three gods are of equal significance and importance. However, today I am going to focus on lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu is the dark lord, with his beautiful eyes and mischevious smile. By his side is his consort, the beautiful goddess Lakshmi. Lord Vishnu resides upon the eternal snake, adisesha, who is often depicted resting on the milk ocean of the heavens. Vaikuntam is the home of this lord, where everything is made of gold and jewels. Lord Vishnu, also known as Inarayana, kesheva, and many other names, is the preserver and protector of the universe and all its creations. He has taken many avatars, where he has come down to earth and re-established justice and peace. During these avatars, his Lakshmi also accompanies him. Born as humans most of the time, the lord and his consort are re-united through marriage during their life on earth. With no knowledge of his devine nature, lord vishnu trains and fights on earth as a normal human would do, enduring all the pains and burdens of the earth. In most avatars, he is separated from his beloved Lakshmi, then re-united with her in go-loka after the avatar is over. Many misinterpretations of the lord have come about on the internet and that is the sole purpose of my post today. The main confusion seems to be that when vishnu is in his human form, and marries a woman on earth, people tend to forget that she is none other than Lakshmi herself. Even as Krishna, the lord fell in love with radha, a gopika, and then was separated from her when he went to fulfill his duty as king. There, he married thousands of women who became his queens, including rukmini and satybama. However, these are also incarnations of Lakshmi as well as radha. Vishnu and Lakshmi are bound together by an eternal love and bond that cannot be broken or bent by their physical separation, and cannot be forgotten because of another man or woman. In the ramayanam, ever-chaste sita (incarnation of Lakshmi), wife of Rama which was an avatar of vishnu, faced the painful accusations where her kingdom of ayodhya questioned her devotion to Rama after her abduction by ravana, the demon king. And rama, standing for dharma (justice) could not speak up for her innocence because the purpose of his avatar as rama was to show how a king should rule, putting his people's opinions in front of his own. However, without getting angry, poor sita and rama endured all their pains of being separated time and again, until they finally re-united in heaven as Vishnu and Lakshmi. Whether incarnating as Rama, Krishna, or any body else, Vishnu's love and devotion to Lakshmi never changed, and whether as sita, radha, rukmini, satybama, (and Krishna's other wives), padhmavathi, etc. Lakshmi's love and devotion for vishnu never changed. The reason people question this fact is because we are humans, and on earth, cheating, breakups, disloyalty, and adharma (injustice) prevail in relationships, so we are unable to see the truth and purity behind vishnu and Lakshmi's eternal love. Also, another misconception people have is that Hindu gods have left India to wither in poverty and sacrifece. However, people only serve in this life, whatever karma has accumulated by their actions in past lives. Even if you are a non-beliver in Hindu gods or gods themselves, try regaining faith. Even at your worst times of life, god is there for you, and with you, and it will always be that way. <3
